My Vampire Hunter D cosplay based off the manga version of it. I've wanted to do this cosplay for the longest time!!! There was a lot of firsts on this outfit..like using spirit gum and liquid latex. Not to mention the hat. I think the hat needs a bit more work but I'm pretty happy with the work I put into it overall. ^^

This is really well done. I usually see on dA cosplays from the Bloodlust version, or Amano's. It's really neat to see that the manga version was pulled off so well. Kudos to you. I'd like to know how you managed to create the accessories for D's costume? I'm currently working on a D cosplay myself, and I'd like to make it a mix of all three versions. ^^U

Thanks for saying so! Yeah, just wanted to do something different heheh~ For the accessories I used bakeable sculpty clay, craft foam and then coated them in epoxy resin to give them strength and shine. If I did it again though, I'd use epoxy resin clay since that stuff is supposed to be strong on it's own and you don't have to bake it. If you can't get that though, there's also super sculpty that's better than the original. Hope this helps for your D!

I think this is awesome..

question are you normally small breasted... or you do something special to 'flatten your chest'?

Thanks!

Ah nah..XD! I use this thing called an abdominal binder since it's the least uncomfortable way to do it imo. I was also wearing a muscle suit underneath that may of helped out the whole process XD.

would it be possible you could show a photo of you wearing your abdominal binder? Ive tried several binding methods with little success...

Well, I can tell you that as long as your a size C or lower it should be able to work ^^..If not, you could check out cosplay.com to see if there might be another method that may work better hehe.
